This article reported on the annual Mandan 4th of July parade. Unlike most years, this parade went on after a tragedy happened earlier in the morning.

This one was hard to write. I had already written the majority of the article before we learned of the accident. We included that in the article afterward.

This article taught me a valuable lesson about how articles interact with the community. A lot of people disagreed with our editorial choices with this article, and I had to handle criticism around an article for the first time.
